Bangladesh Team is set to play two series against New Zealand in a span of less than three and a half months. In one series, Bangladesh Team will host New Zealand at their home which consists of 3 ODIs and 2 Tests. This series will be played in between the ICC World Cup 2023. First, the Bangladesh Team will play a three-match ODI series against New Zealand, starting from September 21. New Zealand tour of Bangladesh

New Zealand will tour Bangladesh in September for the three-match ODI series. Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka will host all three ODIs on September 21, 23, and 26.

Then the two-match test series will be played after the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Bangladesh Team will also play against New Zealand in the ODI WC 2023 on October 14 in Chennai. It will be a day game, starting at 10:30 AM IST.

After the conclusion of the ODI WC, New Zealand will again go to Bangladesh to play two match test series. The first test will start on November 28 in Sylhet. Dhaka will host the 2nd test starting on December 06.

Last test series between Bangladesh and New Zealand

Bangladesh Team has a very good memory of playing a test series against New Zealand. They won the first test in Bay Oval in January 2022 and won by 8 wickets. This was the first time that Bangladesh had beaten New Zealand in New Zealand in any format. Winning an away test is always special for any team.

Although they lost the 2nd test by an inning and 117 runs, the series ended in a draw (1-1).

Last Bangladesh-New Zealand ODI series

Bangladesh Team played the last ODI series against New Zealand in March 2021. They lost the three-match series by 3-0.

After a home test series, the Bangladesh Team will fly to New Zealand to play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is. The three ODIs will be played in Dunedin, Nelson, and Napier on December 17, 20, and 23.

Napier will also host the first T20I on December 27. The next two T20Is will be played on December 29 and 31 in Mount Maunganui.
