With the firepower of Gill at the top, Gujarat have plenty of resolute batters in Pandya, B Sai Sudharshan, Matthew Wade, Wriddhiman Saha, David Miller and Rahul Tewatia who can all attack and also hold the fort. Not just only batting, but they got top bowlers like Mohammed Shami, Rashid Khan and David Miller making the team’s core very strong.

Weaknesses:

On paper, Gujarat Titans seem to have plugged in the holes they might have discovered last season. The team boasts of a well-balanced squad with players like Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Cameron Green, and Jofra Archer. Mumbai Indians have a strong batting line-up. However, their over-dependence on a few players could be a concern.

Mumbai Indians’ batting line-up is undoubtedly their biggest strength. Rohit Sharma, and Suryakumar Yadav are capable of scoring big runs. And their middle-order is well-supported by Jofra Archer and Ishan Kishan. Mumbai Indians also have a strong bowling attack, with Cameron Green and Jofra Archer leading the way. Thus, a fair chance for the team to enter the IPL 2023 playoffs.
